Don's Birthday fun
This year I had the oppurtunity to turn the double nickle. A family I had been helping in painting their house decided to take me out for my birthday on August 31! It was fun, we went to ChuckaRama, an all you can eat place. And had a great time talking and eating and listening to stories and normal things like that.
On my birthday I got well wishes from the Colorado gals and the boys actually gave me a card this year. During the day I was busy installing deadbolts and door knobs for a company that decided they needed to move. Turning the double nickel was fun to look forward to and I hope to enjoy life for a long time to come.

Blake, Crystal and Kalli
We have had a busy summer! Blake has been working hard at Well's Fargo as a manager and I've been busy working at Mckay Dee Hospital as a nurse. I've recently been taking critical care classes at Ogden Regional Hospital so I can start working in the ICU. I also work on the Pediatrics Unit during the winter. Kalli will turn 18 months old this month. She has brought so much joy into our lives and we love her so much. Kalli is starting to talk and will say "thank you," "juice" and "cheese (and many other words). It is so fun to watch her learn and grow. Hope you enjoy these pics!

Geo-Caching
We discovered a new fun activity at the reunion and that is geo-caching. There are thousands of caches (little boxes) hidden all over the world. You look up the info on the internet and then you plug the coordinates into your GPS and go and find it.
Here Derek found the cache in the woods under a log or rock. Sometimes these little devils are hard to find. The GPS can only get you within 5 - 10 feet and then you are on your own to find it.

Getting Started
This is our first attempt at creating a blog site. We decided at our last family reunion that this could be a good way for all of us to keep in touch.
